On the 25th of March, we hosted 40 people at Newnham College for a half-day of talks, networking and activities. We aimed to showcase the range of research and activities we undertake at the Department, while also giving Industry representatives space to demonstrate their company and interests.

Who covered topics as broad as Opportunities for Academia Industry Collaborations, such as Antibody Innovation, GPCR Functions, Biocatalysts, and Human Models.
Plenty of time was reserved for coffee and networking throughout the event, giving everyone ample opportunity to chat with one another.
We ended with a vigorous roundtable discussion on visions of the future of collaborations, followed by a pub quiz and dinner at the Granta Pub.
This event was very well received, with all participants greatly appreciating the chance to hear from Department Group Leaders and Industry representatives. We hope this leads to more collaborations in the future.
