The laboratory is funded principally by a Programme Grant from the Wellcome Trust, and is fully equipped for all the biochemistry and molecular biology necessary for these studies, in addition to the equipment contained within the Department for the extensive imaging (e.g. confocal microscopy) that we do. We also have wide collaborations both within and outwith Cambridge that enable us to carry out more specialised techniques.
