Edmond de Rothschild Chair

Many congratulations to University Reader Dr Hendrik van Veen from the Department of Pharmacology in Cambridge for being awarded the “Edmond de Rothschild Chair” by the Edmond de Rothschild Foundation. The prize is awarded biennially to a renowned foreign researcher in the area of bioenergetics, membrane biology, structural biology, microbiology or molecular modelling. The award is intended to contribute to the promotion of research and to encourage the exchange and reinforcement of collaborations with and within the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS) and its Institut de Biologie Physico-Chimique in Paris, where Hendrik van Veen is currently on sabbatical leave.
