For Mental Health Awareness Week 10th to 16th of May 2021 (https://www.mentalhealth.org.uk/campaigns/mental-health-awareness-week ) the Department of Pharmacology Equality, Diversity and Wellbeing Committee is running a Nature Photography Competition. We want to inspire you to connect with nature (#ConnectWithNature) and gain a positive impact on your mental health. Watch the video below to see Hamish Symington a postgraduate student in the Department of Plant Sciences tell us a little bit about the Cambridge University Botanic Gardens and the competition.

To find some inspiration for your artistic endeavours you could visit the Cambridge University Botanic Gardens.

You can use the garden’s trail to further immerse yourself in the garden:

Pharmacology have 12 passes to access the Botanical Gardens for free. The cards are kept at the reception desk and are issued on a first come, first served basis. We ask that the cards are returned immediately after use, so everyone can enjoy the gardens.
