We are very happy to announce that Charlotte Guffick, a member of the Van Veen Lab, has successfully defended her PhD thesis!
Her thesis was titled 'Novel Strategies towards the Inhibition of ATP-Binding Cassette (ABC) Transporters from Pathogenic Bacteria'. This research is expected to impact the wider development of antibiotic-resistance-breaking pharmaceutical agents and novel methods in medical biotechnology
Her examiners were:
- Dr David Bulmer
- Prof. Kenneth Linton (QMUL, external examiner)
