Our Postgrad and Postdoc Committee is always looking for new ways to enhance our Departmental culture - particularly by sharing research techniques and expertise between groups.
To this end, they held a Chalk Talk event, featuring three presenters:
- Theo Redfern-Nichols (Cell Signalling Group)
- Rory Hills (Howarth Group)
- Mateo Hoare (Kumita Group)
Under the Chalk Talk format, all three presenters used our interactive whiteboard to draw and illustrate their points on laboratory techniques and methods over a short 10-minute period. This proved extremely popular, with attendance exceeding 20 people!
