Congratulations to Ioanna Mela, who was recently awarded the Judith Howarth Lecture Prize.
The Judith Howarth Lecture Prize is managed by the Durham University Biophysical Sciences Institute, which aims to celebrate world-leading early to mid-career academics in the global biophysical sciences sphere. The key component of this prize is a chance to present the annual Judith Howarth Lecture at Durham University.
Professor Judith Howarth was one of the founders of the Biophysical Sciences Institute and was instrumental in establishing the Wolfson Laboratories, an interdisciplinary research hub. To mark her retirement from Durham University, the Judith Howard lecture was established in her name.
